Current projects include....
- Teaching high school Raks Sharki (Belly Dance) at PVPA (Pioneer Valley Performing Arts High School) and at Dancing Dragon Studio.
- Co-producer and co-creator of MEAC and the bi-annual MEAC shows (Middle Eastern Arts Collaborative) with Joann Tebaldi.
- Performing monthly with ADHAM at the Belly Bowl in Turners Falls, MA

Exercise, Relax and HAVE FUN as Karen shares her love of dance. Step out of your busy day and slip into the oasis. Dancing is fun and it is good for you. Using guided imagery, creative movement and a flexible structure, we will stretch and relax, exercise and have fun dancing together, each to her own ability. Bring hip scarves, veils, zills if you have them. Wear clothes you feel good and can move in.

Karen Traub M.Ed. is an acupressurist, a member of the Crescent
Dancers Middle Eastern dance troupe, and an ordained healing minister. She combines her knowledge and experience of body/mind and movement modalities to help strengthen and support health and well being.

Born in Iran and moved to the US as a child, Kizmet was introduced to belly dance by her aunties at age 4 in Iran. "I've grown up with Middle Eastern dance at family gatherings all my live".

Performance experience includes:
Solo improvisation at the Annual Bellydance Festival in Salt Lake City, UT . August 1993

Member of Alask Arabian Dance Enchantment.

Performed at the AK state fair in Anchorage, AK August 1995.

United Nations Day Anniversay Celebration in Anchorage, 1995 and 1996.

Mid-East Dance Extravaganza to benefit Anchorage Municipal Libraries in Anchorage. Feb 1996.

3 Baron's Rennaissance Faire, Anchorage, June 1996.

Expressions in Dance with Footworks Dance Co. Grand Rapids, MI, June 2000.

Various private/professional performances for parties and resturants in Anchorage, AK 1995-1996.
